A professional dog trainer and Squamish, BC local, Amanda started climbing 9 years ago.

She lives with her partner Sam and her dog Roo, which allows her the flexibility to get outside as much as she can. Her passion for compression-style granite bouldering is a physical style that many women shy away from. She appreciates climbing for the way it pushes you to shed self-doubt which led to her a 1st place in 2021’s Squamish Rampage. 

She’s thrilled to be climbing with other women passion to change the idea of what it means to be feminine. Hueco will also be her first girls trip and she is excited to be pushed, challenged, and encouraged in ways that she has never before.
